Welcome!

Welcome to the new Carter family blog! Im glad you stopped by. Let me tell you a little bit of a reason why I decided to start a new blog. Awhile ago, blogger changed the format, and it messed up my whole blog. I could no longer get my backgrounds to work, and blinkies and buttons no longer worked. While this wasnt a HUGE problem, I thought it was rather annoying, since I like having a fun, personal blog. But the MAIN reason I wanted to do a new blog was because I wanted something that reflected more our growing family (after deciding that I was going to start a new blog, I did find out how to import my other blog, so I didnt lose any posts, and this blog will be the story of Rob and my life together) I had a really hard time coming up with a name for this blog. I took the question to facebook with several suggestions that I liked, ones which included the word "diapers" since I thought that fit our growing family well, but 2 wise sisters said that I would eventually grow out of the diaper phase, and then my blog would need a new name again. One of these sisters suggested somehow combining baseball (Robs favorite sport) and our family. This sister came up with Tutusathomeplate. I loved it. There were a few other suggestions that were equally cute, so I sent all the suggestions to Rob, and asked him to pick, and here we are! This blog is mainly going to follow our life together as a growing family, and the adventures we have as new parents. I just want to send a warning to you all right now: This blog will have A LOT of pictures of our daughter(s). I already have the next blog post started, and there are a TON of pictures. I realize some people like blogs for pictures, while others like them for the text, as I am using my blog as my journal, this blog will have both. I have realized that while Anistyn is now just a few days shy of 18 months, I missed out a lot on the details of her growing up and learning new things. This makes me sad, however I do take a lot of pictures. I hope to be better at this with baby #2 close to arrival, and with Anistyn continuing to grow and learn. I guess that is all I have to say right now. I hope you come back often, and I look forward to hearing from you, and following your own blogs!
