Zoo fun!

On May 2nd, Rob had the day off work and I got a zoo pass, so we decided to meet up with my soon to be sister law (YAY!!) and my 3 nieces. It was also the first day that the new lion exhibit was open (the zoo has not had lions for almost 10 years) The weather was perfect and it was a lot of fun to hear Anistyn to say all her animal sounds. I wish more of the animals were out, and active, but the lions were cool. They were very "friendly" and came right up to the glass. I was really surprised. Rob took Anistyn on the carousel, she had never done anything like that, and she LOVED it. I think she is going to be like her dad and like thrill rides. (I know, a carousel isn't a "thrill ride" but it very well could be for a 19 month old) I love Robs days off, we usually try to take the girls out and do something. I do pretty well at talking the girls out on walks, or to the park, or playgroup, but its always more fun when daddy is with us!
